Kaytea Petro is a San Francisco based visual and performance artist. During a particular period of time, she focuses on a series of interrelated pieces that may range in media from costumes to comix, sculpture to jewelery, to theatre works and performance.

Currently, she is working on these solo projects:

Gnometown SF, a comic book, sculpture and performative exploration of the gnomes that live amongst the residents of San Francisco.

Geek Sheik, a line of jewelry made from upcycled post-industrial waste.

 

Artistic Collaborations:

Kaytea is also a member of Cyclecide, San Francisco's own Bicycle Rodeo. She builds, maintains and operates rides, as well as klowning in the show. She also is periodcally is part of the crew for The Lifesized Mousetrap.

Kaytea has collaborated and performed with Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens of the Love Art Labs since 2005.
